Inspection and Authorization System of Factories
JSWA implements Inspection and Authorization System to secure the quality of sewer equipment and materials to expedite inspection. At present, there are two types of authorized products. One is Type 1 that is authorized by either Japan Industrial Standard (JIS) or Japan Sewage Works Standard (JSWAS). The other type is Type 2 that is certified by manufacture's institutional standard. JSWA has seven inspection offices and one branch office around the country where inspectors conduct inspections on sewer equipment and materials.

At the same time, it ensures the appropriate and speedy handling of accident claims. Many local governments and public organizations that are responsible for handling sewage works in their localities subscribe to the policy.
